Informed Voters
Voting is arguably the most important civic opportunity given to citizens in the United States. Voting is how we influence the state of public health from the federal to the local level. Traditionally in American elections, young people have stood out for their consistently low levels of electoral participation. PHIA seeks to counter this by providing opportunities for students to register, providing written materials on the election process, and informing young voters about where political candidates and current representatives stand on public health issues. PHIA is committed to unbiased, nonpartisan information, and does not endorse any political party or candidates.
